For those lovely clients who have bought digital files, either as part of their photography portfolio or individually from my website gallery, Christian Doyle Photography does grant limited reproduction rights for personal use.
Any client who has received or bought digital files are entitled (under license) to use them for personal and non-commercial purposes, including producing prints, posters, canvas wraps, books and other printed matter, multi-media slideshows and other computer or electronic media projects.
The user licence specifically excludes the sale of the digital files or items produced from the files for commercial gain, advertising, publicity or any other commercial use without the written permission from Christian Doyle Photography. If permission is required to use any digital files commercially, or for any other use not listed here, or if any doubt exists as to the extent of licensed usage, then please contact Christian Doyle Photography.
Under the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, copyright in any photograph on this website automatically belongs to the photographer, Christian Doyle trading as Christian Doyle Photography.
No copyright photograph may be copied or reproduced in any way whatsoever without the written permission of the copyright owner.

Photographers have the right to object to treatment of their photograph which distorts mutilates or is otherwise damaging to reputation.
Copyright duration is usually 70 years from the end of the year in which the author dies.
It is the responsibility of the user / publisher to check that they have permission, are within the terms of any licence, or are within the fair practice or other permissions granted by law.
Unauthorised copying a copyright image or photograph or failure to give credit are infringements of law and as such can be subject to criminal sanctions such as a fine or imprisonment or civil sanctions such as claims for damages, accounts, or injunctions precluding ones use of the images
